In a nutshell, my photography work encompasses the Bride to Baby.
I first fell in love with black and white photography while on a trip to Paris in 1997 and seeing Robert Dosineau’s work. Photographing children became a passion of mine quickly after and I started out taking photos of my 5 little brothers, sisters and cousins and then moved on to the children of my friends. I moved from a hobbyist into a professional in 2008 and haven’t looked back since.
For me, nothing is more fulfilling than capturing a moment, a wonderful play of light on a subject, an expression or an emotion that speaks volumes at first glance. I want you to have images that you will cherish and proudly display.
I specialize in Weddings, Newborns, Maternity and Family Shoots from studio to location / outdoor work. I have recently relocated to Beloit, Kansas USA serving the whole North Central Kansas area, as well as the surrounding areas and states (travel is fun!).
My work has been featured in photography magazines iMag Photography *(cover and featured photographer) and Digital Camera UK. My commercial work has been featured in Smart Parenting Magazine, WorkingMom Magazine, Cradle Magazine, UrbanMom Magazine, newspapers such as Philippine Daily Inquirer, Philippine Star, Good Housekeeping, and several popular blogs and websites in Manila, Philippines. I have worked with brands like Belo Baby, Kidzania, EQ Diapers, Johnson’s Baby, Ainon Baby and St. Patrick Clothing, Messy Bessy and Messy Baby and SM Babies for commercial print ad work.
I am an award-winning member of the National Association of Professional Child Photographers (NAPCP), USA and PPA (Professional Photographers of America) and WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Photographers Inc).
For me, nothing is more fulfilling than capturing a moment, a wonderful play of light on a subject, an expression or an emotion that speaks volumes at first glance. I want you to have images that you will cherish and proudly display.
I would say that my style of photography is a celebration of life. I like capturing magical moments, the giggles and twinkles in their eyes, the hugs out of the blue and wet kisses… I try to combine classic portraiture with artistic and more modern treatments and natural expressions. I also value simplicity in my work. It is important to let the child’s personality emerge through the photos. I really love what we do and it is such a blessing to be living this dream.
Cristina Henson-Ngkaion
Tina loves photographing and styling newborn sessions. She and Sofia are first cousins and grew up together. She joined The Stork Studio Team finally after being convinced by Sofia and has not looked back since. She has undergone extensive hands on training and mentoring by Sofia, and attended in-person newborn workshops.
She is a mom on an adorable and precocious 2-year-old named Jose with another little bun on the way.
Tina is Baby First Aid Certified, American Heart Association certified. She is a member of the Professional Newborn and Baby Association of the Philippines.
As a mom and photo addict myself, I know how important it is to capture these precious moments and I’m happy to be a part of many family memories and can’t wait to create more in the years to come.
“I never thought I’d be doing photography because I used to do makeup and styling for photo sessions before, but I fell in love with it because of my cousins’ work. I would say my style of photography is simple yet emotional. I love creating setups for newborns and birthday sessions and making memories for families for generations to come. It makes my heart and whole body giddy when a client loves my work.
